Verse 1:
Another prayer answered, another gift granted
More blessings from above, more proof of your love
So many good things in my life and I owe them all to you
But if this all was profitless
I would still have worshipped you
Chorus:
For you died for me, you cried for me
And you lived your life for me
And I love you for the love you showed
On the cross at Calvary
It’s not the things you’ve done, it’s not the miracles
It’s not the wonders in my life
It’s just the dying on the cross
Showing how much you love me
Verse 2:
When trials and tribulations come
I know they’re just to try me
When I’m drifting in a sea of endless tests
When plans go wrong and things turn bad
No matter how hard I try
I realise it’s not about what I do; it’s only about you

Note: I first started writing songs when I wrote this one. I was worship leading for CF (christian fellowship), and I wanted a song that expressed the thoughts in this one... but there wasn't any song, so I decided to write it myself :-)
Another note: This is the first song, and the rest in this blog are also uploaded in chronological order, with the date they were written (except for those where I jotted them down on scraps of paper and forgot to date them :-)).
