Verse 1:
Pick up the paper when you buy the drinks and don’t forget
Sunday’s the day to pay the breadman
And while you’re about it why not see what you can do about that door
It’s squeaking again
Prechorus 1:
So many tasks they all pile up, sometimes I get a little confused
But when I ask you say, ‘Don’t interrupt’ and I feel like I’m hardly any use
Chorus:
Looking for a superhero someone who will hear my cry for help
And who will come flying in
Someone who’s human just like me, and who understands
Who will lend a helping hand
Looking for a superhero someone who will hear my cry for help
And who will come flying in
Someone a little stronger than me, who will be a friend
Who will give not demand
Verse 2:
Pass me the paper and a bag of chips and make it quick
You know I hate to sit here waiting
And don’t you forget to make that call - you should’ve known I’d ring in sick
Now don’t you go complaining again
Prechorus 2:
So many tasks they all pile up, sometimes I get a little confused
But when I ask you say, ‘Don’t interrupt’ – Sometimes I wonder if I’m being used….

Note: This is a good song. When I look at it, I remember being sick, and spending time with my (now ex-) boyfriend. I asked him if he could help me get a drink of water from the kitchen, and he said no, he was lazy. I burst into tears. Ok, end of story for now...
