What power had the cross?
How could it have such a force?
When lives are changed is it really the cause?
Did just believing make gold out of dross?
I thought of this one day and wondered how it could be
So I asked God and this is what he told me
“It was just a tree but love made it holy.”
The blood of the man hung there for all the world to see.”
The love of His Father
The love of His friends
The love of the Son who chose to be sent
A love full of power
To be strong as a man
A love that will never end
